WELCOME TO CELTIC MUSIC

* Helping you celebrate Celtic culture through music. I am Marc Gunn. I am a Celtic musician and podcaster. This show is dedicated to the indie Celtic musicians. Please support these artists. Share the show with your friends. And find more episodes at celticmusicpodcast.com. You can also support this podcast on Patreon.

ATTN Celtic Musicians. I’m looking for some good stories to share. You see, I also host the Pub Songs Podcast. I started sharing stories from musicians about their songs. I’d like to do more of those. So if you have a story that you’d like to share about a song, from a gig, or maybe even just a piece of Celtic history that you love. Drop me an email at marc@marcgunn.com. Put “Pub Story” in the show subject. Tell me about your story. Maybe I’ll ask you to record your story for the show.

THANK YOU PATRONS OF THE PODCAST!

TRAVEL WITH CELTIC INVASION VACATIONS
Every year, I take a small group of Celtic music fans on the relaxing adventure of a lifetime. We don't see everything. Instead, we stay in one area. We get to know the region through its culture, history, and legends. You can join us with an auditory and visual adventure through podcasts and videos. Sean Topkok emailed a photo: “Happy Father’s Day, Marc

I remember when your daughter was first born. You ask what we are doing while listening to the Irish and Celtic Podcast. I listen several times throughout the week, but my favorite time is when I walk my kayak upriver in Fairbanks, Alaska, and paddle back to my neighborhood. This usually takes about three hours total, so I enjoy listening to all the great artists featured in your podcast. Thanks for continuing to introduce me to various groups and keep up the great work.

PS: You can see my tattoo of the Irish flag in the photo.”

Dennis McLaughlin emailed from Boise, Idaho: “I just wanted to send a shout out about this week's podcast. I recently became a $5 an episode patron after just being a listener for a while.   As I sat listening to this week's music it was a rainy day here in Boise Idaho and the music was perfect!  I picked up some new artists to follow (Eira, Beth Patterson, and Thomas Patrick Kenny) as well.

I am a musician and have played drums with our local pipes and drums bands and always appreciate the great independent artists that play at our local Celtic festival which has unfortunately been canceled last year and looks like this year as well.

I also maintain the website for the Western USA MacLachlan Clan.

Thanks for all you do concerning things Celtic music, pubs and travel.”
